Frequently asked.

Everything you might want to know about writing with Likho.

Why pick Likho over a chatbot like ChatGPT for Suno lyrics?+

Because a generic chatbot doesn't know Suno's formatting rules, and Suno's parser is strict about them. ChatGPT won't reliably put section tags like [Verse] and [Chorus] on their own line, won't stack modifier tags inline the way Suno reads them, and has no idea that a style-of-music prompt has to stay under 1000 characters with negative prompts at the end. So you paste its output into Suno, the song comes out wrong, and you spend ten minutes reformatting by hand. Likho bakes every one of those rules into the generation itself. For example, ask for an upbeat Marathi pop chorus and you get back lyrics already tagged [Chorus] [Belted] [Euphoric], a style prompt inside the character cap, and a title — all paste-ready. You write the way you think; Likho handles the format so Suno accepts it on the first try.

How do I write a song with Likho?+

You describe the song in plain language and Likho turns it into Suno-ready inputs in seconds. There's no prompt-engineering and no format to memorize. Type a vibe — a single line, a paragraph, or just a feeling like "a late-night breakup song, soft female vocals, lo-fi" — and optionally tap a preset chip like Sad, Marathi, or Viral Hook to steer it. Likho then streams back three things at once: a catchy title, a style-of-music prompt formatted to Suno's spec, and full lyrics with [Verse], [Chorus], and [Bridge] metatags already in place. Each field has a one-tap copy button, so you paste them straight into Suno's Custom Mode and render. If one part isn't quite right, you regenerate just that field — say, new lyrics while keeping the title and style — without starting over. Idea to finished Suno inputs usually takes well under a minute.

Do I need a Suno account to use Likho?+

Yes — Likho and Suno do two different jobs, and you need both. Likho is the writing layer: it produces the text inputs a great Suno song needs — properly tagged lyrics, a style-of-music prompt, and a title. Suno is the audio layer: it takes those inputs and actually generates the music and vocals. Likho never renders audio itself, so you'll sign in to Suno (free or paid) to turn your Likho outputs into a finished track. Think of it like a screenplay and a film studio: Likho writes the script in exactly the format the studio expects, and Suno shoots it. The upside of this split is that you're never locked in — your Likho lyrics are plain text you can paste into Suno's Custom Mode, save for later, or reuse across as many songs as you want.

Can I use Likho lyrics commercially?+

Yes, on the Pro and Creator plans — every song you generate on those tiers comes with full commercial rights, and Likho takes no cut. That means you can put the track in a YouTube video, release it on Spotify or Apple Music, use it in client work, or perform it live. The Free plan is different: those lyrics are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only, so they're perfect for practicing, experimenting, or sharing privately, but not for monetized releases. For example, if you're a creator scoring your own videos or an indie artist putting songs on streaming, you'll want Pro or Creator so the rights are clean. Note that commercial rights cover the lyrics and prompts Likho generates — the final audio is rendered by Suno, so you should also check Suno's own terms for the plan you use there.

Is Likho free to use?+

Yes. Likho's Free plan gives you 5 lyric drafts every day, renewing daily, with no credit card required — enough to genuinely write and ship songs, not just a one-time trial. You get access to Likho v1, standard Suno-ready formatting, and up to 8 minutes of audio reference. You only upgrade when your volume grows or you need commercial rights: Pro (₹680/month) raises you to 50 drafts a day with full commercial rights and advanced editing, and Creator (₹2,000/month) gives 150 drafts a day plus the full studio. A typical path looks like this — you start free to see if the output actually saves you time in Suno, and once you're making songs regularly or want to release them, you move to Pro. There's no pressure to upgrade to keep writing; the free tier resets in full every day.
